== Alexander ==
I was hoping to keep it to two Alexander pages. One for the server and one shared by both lore/avatar facts and the monster. The monster portion would be kept as a spoiler for a most part, under the lore/avatar portion.

Uh, anyway, I think it would defeat the purpose to have the spoiler be the front page and the other details be behind it... for all avatar pages, I intend on putting some for of mention of their constellation, other areas in the game they are mentioned, and so on. So, yeah, having it something like Alexander/pagename could work, but I believe having the combat stats be that second page would be best(which would be linked from the mission page). Alexander is an avatar despite being unable to summon, in the same way Phoenix is(who has no monster form). The (Avatar) portion of the name is simply to point of the difference between the server and character. --[[User:BRP|BRP]] 19:54, 22 September 2007 (CDT)

I could use a little help working with the [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:ParserFunctions ParserFunctions] on a [[User:Goddess/Template:Merit Table|template]] I'm making for merit points. To process the template I used it in my [[User:Goddess/Sandbox|sandbox]] for testing and comparison.

I'd like to have it so that it will only insert table rows for lines that have parameters assigned. But apparantly '''<td>''' doesn't count as being nested inside a table and therefore transformed into '''&lt;td&gt;'''.. according to [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:HTML_in_wikitext Wikimedia Help]. I had some futher features to add to it, but didn't want to make it more complicated till I get a good base going.

== Missions ==
Standardize what? [http://wiki.bluegartrls.com/Category:Missions] 32 missions compared to 6 and the 6 being all composed by different people. It seems to me that what I have created thus far IS the standard as far as the missions are concerned.

My choices are:

# Complete the rest of the COP missions with the template I have been using against the mods wishes and let someone else edit them all, likely getting barred from editing in the future
# Use the new template making the recent additions not match up with the previous ones and leave the "standardizing" of my previous entries to someone else
# Edit all the previous missions into the new template and essentially redo all the work I've already done
# Stop contributing and remove what I have done so far.

Clicking the (Undo) link on the template page just seems to me like it will require the least amount of effort by everyone involved.

I appreciate all the work everyone puts into this and I really hope it succeeds so I apologize if I came across as a dick. It's already a lot of work for everyone, I'm just trying to lighten the load.

:It still seems like a lot of unneccesary work for you or me or whoever to edit those pages, all for what amounts to one, 2 line table being moved to the other side of the page. Looking through most of the other templates it appears that either of the mission templates fit into the general scheme of things just fine.

Did I misunderstand and that you already have all the COP missions templated into the old format somewhere, and is just adding them in slowly into the wiki? If so, then please do go ahead with the old template. It doesn't take me long at all to go through and pop a few things into place once you're done. Also noticed you're fiddling with the formatting of the appraisal lists. Vistani and I have been working on it and had decided to leave the font unchanged, and simply give the unique appraisals a highlighted background, possibly a pale yellow. Also, you highlighted Spectacles as a unique appraisal under Lamia No. 13, when in fact it is not a rare/ex/unique appraisal. I don't know if I agree with [[Best Hate in the Game]] being in [[:Category:Game Mechanics]]. while it's true that hate mechanics are why redmage is the best hate in the game, the redirect isn't actually *about* technical game mechanics.

:Just wondering which template you were wondering about? you need to use them to build table blocks inside <nowiki>{{#if:value|true|false}}</nowiki> because otherwise the | would be interpreted as the divider between the true and false cases; breaking the statement.
