==Walkthrough==

*Various types and difficulties of enemies are scattered around the map. Simply defeat the required numbers of enemies (10, 15, and 18) to successively complete the three goals.
*Bring a fishing rod and some kind of bait for the [[Cave Kraken]] - it can be fished up in the lake marked with a ??? target near the [[Cornucopieyes]] (northwest I-9). The target indicates that there is an enemy present there upon clicking it.
**Kraken has been verified to be caught with 0 skill using a [[Lu Shang's F. Rod]] and [[Little Worm]].
**After several runs, Kraken never appeared before 5 minutes into run. It is possible that it uses some of the logic a standard fished monster would use, and requires that time after instance creation for it's spawn timer to pass.
**It is not likely that bait matters, as it does not for any other fished monster. Similarly, rod only matters for a typical fished monster in that it may bestow benefits related to the minigame.
**Kraken was successfully fished with a Clothespole/Meatball combination. Insect Ball and Sliced Sardine got no bites.
**[[Lu Shang's F. Rod]] and [[Shrimp Lure]], Sabiki rig, Robber Rig and Worm lure did not work (tried multiple times)
**[[Lu Shang's F. Rod]] and Little Worm did work (tried 9 times)
**[[Lu Shang's F. Rod]] and Meatball worked first attempt.
**[[Halcyon Rod]] and [[Shell Bug]] did work after 8 attempts
**[[Fastwater F. Rod]] and [[Little Worm]] worked first attempt.
**Take this with a grain of salt, but I fished 8 times with no luck, then repositioned myself onto the ??? and fished once and immediately got it.
**[[Lu Shang's F. Rod]] and [[Fly Lure]] worked after 5 attempts. Repositioned onto the ??? as above mentioned, but still took two more attempts after positioning. I don't think it affects the catch. --[[User:Shimbibitty|Shimbibitty]]

More difficult fight than the previous one. As mentioned, you can equip a different weapon after entering the BCNM.

He used [[Chainspell]] and started off with [[Stonega IV]] x2 followed by the Dispelga and taking off all of my buffs as mentioned. I did not have [[Meikyo Shisui]] up, otherwise it may have been easier if he didn't steal my TP with [[Absorb-TP]]-ga. Used [[Blizzaga IV]] followed by a 1k [[Impact]] which debuffed me. [[Yaegasumi]] prevented me from dying, but he did take out most of my trusts by the time I won. I assume it uses all [[Bahamut]] TP moves, but I forget what they are by this point. Went in on RDM/NIN Full buffed (used blink instead of shadows) Trusts Ulmia Sylvie Jaochim Ygnas Monbereau. Opened with Dia3 Frazzle3 Distract3 Slow2 Paralyze2 Addle2 Silence, then engauged, Savaged Bladed him down, about 50%-ish he used Chainspell, which removed the silence. I didn't try to reapply it as the Addle2 helped me resist his Slowga, and Paralyze stopped his FiragaIV and he was dead before getting to do much of anything else. Never got to dispel, just used a couple of TP moves which only broke stoneskin towards the end of the fight. -- [[User:dfg7774|Illyanna]] 21:17, 18 May 2023 (EST)

I had a very difficult time on RDM/NIN (ML30). Most all enfeebles would land (though silence took a few tries), but it didn't really matter, because Chainspells and Manafonts would clear all debuffs fully, and the dispelga spam takes away everything but Reraise and Signet. /NIN is only for DW since all spells are -aga. It was a game of dispelga/erasega which led to repeated losses at 7-9%. Eventually brought in another in the same boat, only debuffs were dia+para, and SB spam to victory. BLU/RUN ML31 Naegling and Malignance set. Used Sel'theus, Cornelia, Arciela, Qualtada and Monberaux. Fully buffed myself and used Magic Evasion Food (Serving of popotoes con queso). I casted Silent Storm and Tenebral Crush at beginning. Then simply spammed Savage Blade for 42k each to find out he must only have around 200k HP. At 50% HP landed Sudden Lunge with success to lock him time until it was defeated. == RUN Solo - ML20 ==

Do your normal Trust Selection I went with Sylvie, Cherruki, Shantotto II, Matsui-P, and Koru-Moru - But better trusts can be used.

Defense Setup: 3 Lux (worried about dispel), Valiance, Pflug, Phalanx.

Start of Fight: Swordplay, Temper, and Foil

80% - Odyllic Subterfuge

50% or when you are low - Elemental Sforzo and Battuta

Zerg it down. I opted for a dual sword Naegling/Blurred Sword +1 setup and Savage Blade once Matsui opened the WS chain OR if TP 2000+

Took about 3-4 minutes.

== Not too difficult with Ambuscade gear solo (RDM/WAR) ==

I was able to defeat it solo with Ambuscade gear +2. The fact that Destiny Destroyers help you in case you die help a bit too, since it's very possible to die easily.

I used Arciela, Irora II, Yoran-Oran, Valaineral and Matsui-P. It's necessary to have Trusts that can heal everyone (and the Destiny Destroyers) while also able to support (cure, remove status ailments mainly).

I'm not sure if my enfeebling spells worked (silence rarely I guess), but I think it may have worked a bit for Slow, Paralyze, etc., so it's worth to try doing this a bit.

== NIN solo w/Yagyu Darkblade ==

Solo fight with trusts on ML5 NIN/DNC. Didn't have to work too hard to kill, but I was only able to do 1 skillchain and magic burst. So it was semi-slow, but trusts stayed mostly alive, Matsui-P was the only one to die. Frequent re-casting of shadows and [[Yagyu Darkblade]] applying them to trusts made it pretty easy. I didn't have to reraise or anything. It took about 5 minutes or so.

Fight was not difficult with R15 [[Masamune]] SAM. A 3 step skillchain kills one of the beastmen. TP does not go into the BCNM, so just [[Meditate]] upon getting inside and summon Trusts. All of the beastmen were on Dazbog since he engaged before I got up to them. I did not check his health, but it did not seem anyone was in danger. The Quadav started buffing right away (only got off Haste) so don't lollygag when you get in so he doesn't put up Protectra. Agreed that fight is not too difficult. Solo'd as a BRD/NIN. Used trusts Valaineral, Koru-Moru, Joachim, Qultada and Monberaux. Slept all three and started with WHM who used benediction halfway through HP. Had to re-sleep them a few times, but it landed each time. A few Savage Blades per NM and they were all dead. I dispelled their buffs but it didn't make much of a difference. Valaineral couldn't keep hate off so maybe a different trust would have worked better.

Easy fight. Barely took any damage from any mob on Rdm/Nin (didn't put shadows up). Trusts Vala/Sylvie/Ygnas/Monberaux/Ulmia (healer barely did anything). Sleep is easy to land on Marid/Porogo.
