Hello there,

I was looking over your easy button summoner guide and I noticed a few things I felt were worth mentioning.

First, it’s clear you’re trying to make this new player or returning player friendly, and I can appreciate that, but I do think your insistence on pointing out that nirvana isn’t needed at every step only discourages people from possible obtaining it and makes players feel it’s not worth while. Also, specifically with your flaming crush set, you still referenced that nirvana isn’t needed, when nirvana wouldn’t even be used in that set to begin with. So it just feels like you’re kicking the staff for no reason there. Also, there is no cait sith gear used in the volt strike set unless a person has no alternatives.

You mentioned players hitting 90k on flaming crush with your volt strike set, is that the majority of the time or the occasional DA proc? Because in my experience, the VS set heavily relies on the DA proc and you’re only looking at around 24% of the time, vs a nirvana summoner hitting that capped damage with AM running 69+ % of the time. In the interest of full disclosure, I just feel that’s worth mentioning.

Also in your initial assessment of how many blood pacts are needed to deal damage, it would be helpful for players to know what the expected individual blood pact damage numbers should be. Obviously numbers will vary, for example, if they need to deal 400k in 15 bp’s just writing out 20-30k bp’s (average is 26.6k) will be a better mark for them to reach for.

I downed it with MNK/WAR, GEO/WHM, August, Arciela, Ygnas, and Apururu (UC). GEO used [[Indi-Barrier]], [[entrust]]ed [[Indi-Haste]] on the MNK, and cast a [[Blaze of Glory]]'d [[Geo-Frailty]]. Pulled them by casting Sleep 2 on the Rabbit. MNK used Perfect Counter/Mantra/Impetus, engaged and killed in the order of Shikaree X -> Y -> Z. Never got below a thousand HP. Slept the Wyvern after Y spawned it. Kept both the pets slept throughout the fight. Just adding in that their weapon skills can still one-shot non tanks in full DT. MY thief with 1450 evasion and 53 DT (I know, overcapped) still took 2100 damage from one of the scythe weapon skills.- Timepassesbye

Lv.99 Sam/thf with AAEV, Noillurie, Uka Totlihn, Joachim and Koru-Moru. Not difficult at all but, the rabbit-pet can cast Break-ga which will kill you if you have hate on everything and it lands on your whole party (enjoy watching yourself get beat down while you can't do anything for 30 seconds, ya know). Killed in 8min 48 sec. Did full buffs at start including SV (Honor,March,MinV,MinIV,MinIII) and Bolster (Fury,Precision,entrust-refresh (on whm)). Typical COR Chaos/Sam rolls. DDs stood at front and just smashed his face in. Designate BRD for stona/paralyna, Geo keep haste on DDs, WHM focuses on cures. Once buffs were wiped, rebuffed at whm and resumed until dead. Alex hits like my grandma and drop rate sux balls. Good Luck!

Trusts: Ulmia, Arciela II, Monberaux, Apururu, Moogle

Approximately 20 minutes, depending on Lost Gospel and full dispels. Savage Blade to prevent skillchains. Used omelette sandwich to shore up accuracy and bulk. Don't use Selh'teus, he'll make light and hinder progress. (2-5-2023)

VD has about 1.29 mil hp

Hard solo on WAR/DRG. Selh'teus, Ulmia, Monberaux, Arciela II, Yoran-Oran. Hybrid gear with Farsha and Mistral Axe riding AM3, or Naegling and Savage Blade. Took over twice as long as Normal so I would not recommend this method, but it is possible. WAR/DRG is a bit more consistent, but WAR/SAM atleast has Hasso for when Haste is gone

Sehl'Teus, Ulmia, Qultada, Arciela II, Monberaux.
After Arciela uses Haste II, I immediately disengage and dismiss, because when she's done with her Haste cycle, there's a good chance she'll Dia Alex, and make him reset.
Koru and King are not good, they will immediately try to Dia.

After dismissing Arciela, you can go AFK, just press WS button once in a while.

Naegling / Shining One / Lycurgos, all 10-12 min fights, on N 8-10 mins.

Pulled with melee hit then warcry to start the fight and faced him away from trusts
Chakra after Divine Judgment and Ulmia will ballad, Qultada will evokers for Karaha-Baruha

Also easy solo on THF/WAR with the same. Use the Kaja Knife or the Tauret and spam Evisceration to avoid Skillchains.

Do not use ANY enfeebles on him or any trust that will enfeeble him. Recommended trust Ulmia, Selh'eus, Yoran, King Of Hearts and Qultada.
