General Notes
  • Immune to dark-based Sleep.
  • Takes double damage from all sources, possesses double the HP of typical monsters.
    • The double damage / double HP mechanic makes them only effectively vulnerable to Hybrid Weapon Skill Damage or Skillchain damage, especially with the Holy Circle potency bonus, since it double dips the damage multiplier and results in quadruple the usual damage.
      • With the skillchain example, the weapon skill damage is doubled and increased by holy circle, then the skillchain damage starts with the doubled weapon skill damage as its base, and that is also doubled and increased by holy circle.
    • Abilities that restore HP or MP based on damage dealt will also have a relative advantage, as long as they are effective against undead: Spirit Taker.
  • These corpse-eating ghouls wrap themselves in Qutrub Bandage icon.png bandages to slow the decomposition of their rotting bodies. Unlike the shambling undead that are afflicted with a curse after dying, the qutrub are beings that have succumbed to the charms of the Lamiae while still alive. Through dark rituals, they willfully attain an undead existence in order to serve their foul mistresses for eternity. Seemingly still afflicted by the desires of the living, the qutrub hoard valuable Qutrub Gorget icon.png trinkets, and feast on the dead to maintain the traces of flesh and blood remaining to them. It is said that the blade carried by each qutrub is infused with their discarded life essence. [1]
