From FFXI Wiki

Other content articles on this wiki don't contain an intro paragraph giving an opinion by the author of the merits of participating in the content. There is no reason to be doing that here, it is biased and should not have a place on this or any other wiki. Neutral point of view is core tenant on Wikipedia and most other wikis. It really should be the case here as well. I described modern balance issues in an additional note in the combat mechanics section, there is no further need to predispose people against the content, as there is no unspoken word about the issues arising from the lack of updates.

The other content articles do not make judgements about their popularity. Why is that so necessary here? Alhanalem (talk) 13:07, 26 May 2022 (EDT)

~ As a further clarification: I'm honestly not judging the *accuracy* of the statements, because it's technically true that Ballista isn't very popular (Which I have long attributed to the lack of meaningful rewards for participation in an MMO more than anything else) and that there are issues due to the lack of updates that have been made to it. But these statements don't belong in the introduction, they belong in the relevant sections. Neutral point of view should always be a priority. A content article should detail the attributes and information needed to use that content, not an opinion on their merits- that's what user guides and forum threads are for.
