 Objective: Fend off enemy attackers.
 Expedition Goals: 1:  Withstand the enemy's assault for 5 minutes.
2:  Withstand the enemy's assault for 8 minutes.
3:  Withstand the enemy's assault for 12 minutes without a single KO.
 Time Limit:  15 minutes

Walkthrough

  • This expedition takes place entirely in one room in H-8 of Ghoyu's Reverie map 3.
  • Shortly after entry, four Lair Lizards will spawn in the north and west tunnels and move towards party members. Shortly after arriving, they will become hostile.
  • Approximately every minute thereafter, additional Lair Lizards will spawn in the two adjacent tunnels. 5-10 seconds after they spawn, they will immediately become aggressive and run towards a party member to attack:
    • Expedition Start
      • Waves 1, 2, and 3: Lair Lizard x4
      • Wave 4: Lair Lizard x6
    • Completion of Goal 1
      • Waves 5 and 6: Lair Lizard x6
      • Wave 7: Lair Lizard x8
    • Completion of Goal 2
      • Wave 8: Lair Lizard x8
      • Waves 9 and 10: Lair Lizard x10
    • Completion of Goal 3 (if no one has been KO'ed)
  • The Lair Lizards need not be killed to complete the goals. While they are sleepable, there is no limit to how many can be present, so there can be an overwhelming number of them if they are not defeated as they spawn.
  • The goals are completed automatically as the necessary time requirements pass.
  • One Soothing Strongbox, which will fully replenish the party's HP and MP upon opening, is present immediately adjacent to the starting point in H-8.
