How to Participate

Speak with one of the moogles next to the red treasure coffer, found in the following locations and listen to what they have to say.

Southern San d'Oria (I-8) / Bastok Markets (F-8) / Windurst Waters (F-9)

• You will receive a Crustacean Shirt after speaking with the moogle.

Once you have received this item, equip it, and speak with the Erudite Moogle in one of the following locations to participate in the event.

Southern San d'Oria (J-9) / Bastok Markets (F-8) / Windurst Waters (F-9)

After receiving the magic run over to the Erudite Moogle near the tables right next to the one you just spoke to. You will be transformed into a tiny frog and being participating in the event.

Playing the Question Game

The Erudite Moogle will ask you a series of 20 random questions out of 100 possible questions.

• 5 NPCs will pop up on tables in front of you and rotate around as you are asked a question.
• You must target and use /point on the correct answer to earn points.
  • Please use "/point motion <t>" as your macro to avoid chat log spam.
• You will have 10 seconds to answer each question.
  • The point timer will begin decreasing as soon as the round begins from 100 points down to 1 before time expires.
  • Correctly answering two questions in a row will begin granting a chain bonus of 10 points extra per chain.
    • This bonus is broken upon answering incorrectly.
    • Points may be stored across rounds by simply not spending them.

• The Erudite Moogle will often present the correct answer's clone. An option that is dressed very similarly to the right answer.
  • Sometimes the differences are very hard to notice, such as different pants on the same style taru or five male elvaans in the exact same hooded outfit, but with a different face.

Leveling Up

• After a certain number of correct answers and points obtained players will begin leveling up.
  • This does nothing besides changing the ascetics of your character.
• You will start as a small frog, become a larger frog, then a poroggo, and finally a Notorious Monster poroggo.

Strategy:

• Eventually you will become used to the layouts presented in front of you, and it becomes a bit of a memory game. Studying the list below may be a slight help.
• Players may spam point at the options in order to get some amount of points, but ultimately must know the answers eventually to get a lot of points.
  • Answering incorrectly reduces the potential points.
