Did a bunch of tests to determine the information on the front page.

  • Wild Rabbit (Level -1) Death damage naked with 1244/1244 MP is the same as with 1244/1500 MP
    • Death is based on the current MP, not the MP%.
  • Wild Rabbit (Level -1) Death damage naked with 1244 MP is the same as against Bigclaws in Misareaux Coast.
    • Death damage does not depend on target stats or level.
    • Also confirmed using Impact on a crab.
  • Diatrymas take reduced damage from Death.
    • They have 12 MDB, so the MAB/MDB term is used.
  • Death does less damage on Lightsday (sometimes) and more on Darksday.
    • Day/weather term is used
  • Pixie Hairpin +1 and Archon Ring both affect Death damage.
    • Confirms it's Darkness damage and depends on elemental affinity.
  • Zodiac Ring does not affect Death damage.

  • Collecting a bunch of samples at different MP gives a slope of 5.7 (damage vs. MP) with an offset of 60 for my BLM (90 MAB, 36 MDMG from traits).
    • Implies an MP multiplier of 3 (times MAB). This does not quite work out with my Magic Damage. It is as if it only has 32 MDMG.
  • Putting on all my gear and adding up the stats results in a lower number than expected.
    • Capping the MDMG to 32 eliminates this discrepancy and removes all errors from the model.
  • 9/28 Death casts procced Death during testing

Tested Spae. Coat +1 to see if it would work when Detah did DMG instead of proccing. Had feeling it wouldn't being Dark Magic and Zodiac not working.
