Battle strategies
Though we tried to do as others before us recommended at 1st and use a thunder or wind maneuver to set Ob to ranger mode, my linkshell mates and I found it much faster and easier to set it mage mode and then TP burn it from full to dead near instantly. He never got to cast.
Also, while I've only fought it in ranger mode once, it seemed to have a very high accuracy and critical hit rate which other people I've spoken to who fought it didn't seem to see happen with their Ob. Told me they used wind maneuver and that they didn't even know thunder would set it to ranger also. Maybe its stats change based on which element switched its mode? Thunder element seems to be associated with DEX accuracy and crit rate elsewhere in game. --Ace 04:43, 31 July 2008 (EDT)
