Defeated easily with a PLD using Aegis, BLU, GEO using Idris, GEO not using one, a SCH, and a WHM.

BLU nukes primarily Ice and Dark. SCH sets up MB for the SCH GEO GEO and WHM to MB off of. Yes, WHMs can nuke well too. Stop taking lazy shitty WHMs!

The BLU needs to be very well geared or else they aren't worth taking because they can't stand outside the range of the NMs attacks which seem to go up to 15 yalms. This will lower all stats, sleep, paralyze, and cripple the BLU pretty much who also isn't MBing. That being said a well geared BLU will still parse well under these situations if they focus on pushing through. --Spicyryan (talk) 22:46, 31 January 2016 (UTC)


RUN is also a fine tank.

Was able to duo this as Pitre Taj icon.pngPUP with a Geomancy Galero icon.pngGEO.

Requires Overdrive, and it's maybe possible to completely solo Strophadia as PUP, but the GEO brings guaranteed security. Using Bolster on Geo-Frailty is nice to have, but not as required as Overdrive is.

PUP uses Valoredge head/Sharpshot frame with an Overdrive attachment setup -- Auto-Repair Kit IV, Optic Fiber I+II, Inhibitor I+II, Attuner, Coiler II, Turbo Charger II, Mana Jammer IV, Armor Plate IV, with the final 2 attachments being up to your personal preference (ex: another Mana Jammer for more safety from her big nukes, another Coiler for very fast TP gain, Speedloader for more skillchain damage, Tension Spring for more attack)

Pop her, PUP deploys automaton, and runs far away out of range of Kaleidoscopic Fury (20+ yalms). PUP then uses Overdrive with Element: Light/Element: Fire/Element: Fire Maneuvers (double Fire during Overdrive, even though it's inefficient, to force Arcuballista, sharpshot frames hardest hitting WS). Automaton will do a variety of self-skillchains during Overdrive (Arcuballista > Armor Shatterer > Armor Piercer) and finish her off before Overdrive wears off. Similarly, GEO uses Geo-Frailty (with optional Bolster) and Dia II and also runs far out of range. The only fear are her big Tier 6 nukes which put a significant dent in the Automaton, run in and Repair as needed. If the GEO is confident, they can engage and stand in range with Healing Trusts to keep them healthy and use Indi-Fade to help lower the magic damage on the Automaton. -- Fabiano (Asura) Crescendo (talk) 13:43, 22 November 2017 (EST)

PUPx2 COR can easily farm her. No Overdrive needed. VE/SS with the standard pet dps attachments and Beast/Companion's rolls. Similar strategy to Fabiano's setup, stay back, allow the two autos to skillchain her to death. This is preferable since you don't need to reset 1-hours, if you have access to another puppetmaster.
