Talk:Voidwatch Weaknesses

From FFXI Wiki

Thundaja, Drain II, and Aspir II are still unconfirmed and may not actually be weakness triggers at all. Lowing is suspect, but there have been infrequent reports of it staggering. --Slycer 16:02, 22 March 2012 (EDT)

Removed Drain II, Aspir II, and Lowing until they can be confirmed with evidence. --Slycer 11:04, 26 March 2012 (EDT)

Removed Firaja, Stoneja, Waterja, Aeroja until they can be confirmed with evidence, based on over 500 fights as Black Mage in Voidwatch I personally have never come across those spells being part of the weakness system for BLM Voidwatch staggers. Bismarck - Zander (SJ) 18:42, 30 October 2012 (EDT)

-ja spell revision was reverted. Please refer to the following thread for the complete discussion where the spell list was created: [1]. I have no doubt that the frequency of some spells to be procs is higher than others, and I also have little doubt that the -ja spells are on the low end of that scale. That said, I have seen them proc multiple times in many more than 500 fights, and there are several accounts from others on the thread linked that they proc as well. Seemingly, however, Blizzaja and Thundaja were never added as potential procs (they were not in the game at the time Voidwatch was introduced as they are both gained after level 90). There has only ever been one proven confirmation of Blizzaja procing (which I question due to its singularity) and zero confirmations or even reports of Thundaja procing, so they have been excluded from the list here. --Slycer 10:24, 1 November 2012 (EDT)
