This NM was originally added during the July 25th, 2006 Version Update. Originally, it's chance for appearing was incredibly low and it was regarded as a myth. Furthermore, the difficulty of this NM was very high for level 75 players. There were hints from the developers announced at FanFest 2007 about its pop conditions, but the exact pop condition was not known because of the vagueness of the answer. In the May 10th, 2011 version update the appearance conditions of this NM were relaxed and it no longer was a myth.

Later on during a Reddit Q&A [1], more specific information was disclosed about this NM's spawn conditions. However, it was fairly insignificant at this point since the gear was outdated and the NM appeared so much more often after the May 10th, 2011 update.
