Talk:Quickstart 1-119 Guide
Question: Is Ashita similar to Windower? Will Windower add-ons run on Ashita? Just wondering nothing more.
- It is separate from it, but has the same intent. No, Windower add-ons will not run with Ashita. Sorry, I missed this and never answered it. --Spicyryan (talk) 21:00, 2 February 2021 (EST)
Small edit. Rhapsodies in White KI is awarded at the end of RoV 1-6, not 1-7.
I would say that the some of the RoV mission goals for lv 70+ are quite optimistic for first-timers. It's pretty damn hard to do The Lost Avatar at lv. 80 with only 4 trusts (you might really good sustain/refresh from some trust I don't know about or go in as a RDM). Cetus is also very difficult at the recommended lv (90), but moreso because he hits so hard; the Somber Dreams page says that this fight is intended for lv 99 and I can definitely feel that. I tried these as THF if that makes any significant difference in terms of difficulty. Kreed (talk) 22:45, 24 December 2018 (EST)
GEO and RUN Relic and Empy gear
The main page talks about obtaining relic and empy gear by doing Dynamis and Abyssea, but just a reminder GEO and RUN obtain their gear for these areas via quests. It might be good to add this information to the main page. Thank you. --IBHalliwell (talk) 00:38, 8 November 2017 (EST)
Why is the player base so small?
"A: We don't use those mentally defective terms here." - This is part of the reason why the player base is so small. This is some toxic language and there's a lot to unpack with it and I want to assume best intentions on your part and I'm going to ask that you assume best intentions on mine. This kind of elitism drives people away from the game. It makes people just quit. It's not the tough boss fights. Or the grind. And it's not the convoluted gameplay mechanics because it was built on PlayStation 2 hardware for PlayStation 2 to run on a dial-up connection with seemingly no foresight that it would even be running beyond... *checks non-existent watch* ...2007? It's this stuff. I've got friends with cognitive disabilities who wanted to play. And when I directed them to this guide, I had to apologize for this. Because I didn't even realize it was here. Normally, I link to the "#Levels_1-5" portion. Please consider using kinder, more inclusive language that will help foster a more friendly and welcoming atmosphere in the game (and honestly, this is something that everyone can work on, myself included). Thank you for your time and consideration. - User RodimusPrime (~10:30am Pacific US - 10:53am, took a long time finding the proper words because this really isn't me trying to pick a fight but to start a dialogue)
I second RodimusPrime - The attitude of the author of this guide is pretty toxic and immature. Does not represent the real community and great people you can find in the game (with the right linkshell). The author reeks of Twitch-baby and would be more at home in WoW. Agathor
- Hi, I have never played WoW, and I very rarely even use Twitch. Overall, I do not speak for any community or people. Toxic is a poor, shallow, and trite adjective which should be reserved for chemicals rather than platitudinal and very hollow statements.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but can we please not have language such as "mentally defective" littered in places throughout the guide? It gives off a very unwelcoming and very unfriendly vibe. ValkyrWarrior (talk) 14:38, 4 November 2021 (EDT)
Another small edit - liter = metric unit of measure of volume, litter = a group of young animals born at the same time. Also, gimicks = gimmicks in the same area. Leethosoh (talk) 15:49, 23 February 2019 (EST)
