I don't know how to use aliases properly in this table, please help me :)

How do I display an alias for a link in this template without an extra pair of brackets appearing?<br/>
Example: look at [[Teyrnon]]'s page. First red link goes to "Boil (MON)". Rather than creating a redirect page at Boil (MON) -> [[Slime (MON)]], I want to use <nowiki>[[Slime_(MON)|Boil (MON)]]</nowiki>.<br/>
But if I do that - first with the [[]], then without the [[]] just using Slime_(MON)|Boil (MON) - neither of them work, in two different ways:
