Aftermath
An "Aftermath" is a buff caused by using the correct Weapon Skills while wearing a Relic, Mythic, or Empyrean Weapon. Each category of weapon has a different aftermath structure, and the specific Aftermath can vary from weapon to weapon.
No form of TP Bonus influences Aftermath duration or effect.
Relic Aftermath
Each Relic receives a different Aftermath effect following its specific weapon skill. Aftermath duration is based on TP, as seen in the below table, but Relic Aftermaths scale to the second as if they were TP Multipliers using the following points:
TP | Duration |
100TP | 30 Seconds |
200TP | 45 Seconds |
300TP | 60 Seconds |
Generic duration equation would be: Floor( 0.3×(TP+100) )
Mythic Aftermath
Mythics receive a different Aftermath based on the specific weapon and the TP spent, and correspondingly get different "Level" Aftermath effects. Aftermath effects is determined by both Aftermath Level and Weapon level. Weapons that have been enhanced by Trial of the Magians have more potent and longer lasting Aftermath effects.
Most of the information that we have about Aftermaths is based on testing done with Burtgang and Liberator. It is assumed to be the same across all Mythics, but take it with a grain of salt. Some Mythics gain the same aftermath effect as other Mythics at different levels. We have very little information about this, but all the information available (Yagrush allegedly gains 20 Acc at 200TP) points to the same equation being used regardless of which TP range it is being applied to.
Unlike Relics and Empyreans, Mythic Weaponskills also grant their Aftermath bonuses to any related pets. And unlike any other form of "Occasionally Attacks Twice," Mythic Aftermath Level 3 can trigger on Weapon Skills (and Pet Weapon Skills).

Mythic Aftermath (80)
At level 80, Mythics receive an increase in Aftermath Duration. It is unknown at this time whether there are any specific Aftermath changes or changes at 100~299 TP duration for Duration Structure 2, but it is assumed there are not.
TP Range | Duration |
100~199TP | 90 Seconds |
200~299TP | 120 Seconds |
300TP | 180 Seconds |
Mythic Aftermath (90)
Level 90 Mythics enjoy increased Aftermath potency. It is unknown whether some of these changes actually occurred at 85, as there have been no extensively tested level 85 Mythics.
Aftermath | Equation | Mythics |
Accuracy | Floor(×TP÷10) | Conqueror, Glanzfaust, Vajra, Burtgang, Liberator, Aymur, Kogarasumaru, Nagi, Ryunohige, Nirvana, Tizona, Kenkonken, Terpsichore, Yagrush, Carnwenhan |

Occasionally Attacks Twice | 60% Pseudo-Double Attack | All Main-hand Mythic Weapons |
Occasionally deals double damage | 60% Double Damage | All Ranged Mythic Weapons |
Empyrean Aftermath
Empyreans also have potency and damage that scale with TP, but their system is more generic than Mythics or Relics. Every Empyrean gets an "Occasionally Doubles Damage" aftermath that is currently thought to be the same for all weapons. Similar to Mythics, any level Aftermath will overwrite Aftermath Level 1, but only Aftermath Level 3 will overwrite Level 2, and nothing overwrites Level 3. This means that someone trying to maintain the Level 3 aftermath all the time needs to wait for it to wear off before WSing again.
Unlike Mythics, Aftermath potency is thought to be static regardless of TP and weapon level. Weaponskilling with 199 TP will give the same Aftermath that you'd get from Weaponskilling at 100 TP. This can be seen in the differing status icons which explicitly state the aftermath level after performing a weapon skill.
TP | ODD Rate | Duration |
100~199TP | 30% | 30 Seconds |
200~299TP | 40% | 60 Seconds |
300TP | 50% | 90 Seconds |
