Notes
- Insert Mine Gravel into the Refiner in Palborough Mines on map 3 at (I-6)
then drop off the nearby ledge and pull the lever to receive Mythril Sand 10 times (you can trade all 10 sand and then pull the lever).
Omega Mount
Obtain the Ancient Melody: O, M, E, G, and A.
- Then speak with Boisterous Jackal in Lower Jeuno (H-7).
- If Jackal does not state that the apparatus in Fei'Yin is active then you must then receive Doctor Status from any Strange Apparatus and return to Jackal.
- The Doctor Status code will vary based on your character's name see Doctor Status for more information.
- Boisterous Jackal will now mention that the Strange Apparatus in Fei'Yin has started working.
- Obtain a Metal Chip and an Infinity Core and proceed to the Strange Apparatus in Fei'Yin (G-6 on Map 1
).
- The quickest way here, is Home Point #2, and then walk upstairs from the western part of the map.
- Obtain Doctor/Administrator Status on the apparatus.
- The zone code for Fei'Yin is 23.
- Trade your Chip and Core to the appartus to receive the Omega whistle
and your new mount.
Note:
- Talking to Jamal in Ru'lude Gardens will give you a brief conversation with him involving you showing him your Ancient Melody: O, then he refers to dark Trust magic, then ends it there for now...
- Aldo in Neptune's Spire also mentions an Ancient Melody: O in your possession.
- Mapitoto at the chocobo stables in Upper Jeuno will remove her costume while inspecting your Ancient Melody: O. She notices that the music is rather old and requests that you return if you learn more about it.
