Select the mission from one of the Bastok Gate Guards
Obtain a Lizard Egg , purchasable from Chomo Jinjahl in Windurst Waters (E-8) or from the Auction House . Any lizard drops them as well.
Once obtained, Trade the egg to Senator Alois in the Metalworks

You will need to trade additional crystals, or repeat previous missions to increase your current rank before being able to accept this mission.
