Overview
Divine Magic is the smallest general category of spells and focuses on damaging and debilitating enemies with light elemental white magic spells. Because of this, Divine Magic spells are particularly effective against monsters of the Undead family. Banish Spells in particular have enhanced properties when used against Undead type monsters.
Divine Magic skill determines the accuracy and spell interruption rate of Divine Magic spells. For Paladin, while under the effect of Divine Emblem, potency of damaging divine magic spells is also greatly affected by skill.
Divine Magic is primarily employed by White Mages and Paladins. Rune Fencer has divine magic skill, but only has access to Flash, while Red Mages and Scholars have divine magic skill but do not natively learn any divine magic spells and can only access them from sub jobs.
