Elemental Debuffs is a category of Black Mage specific Elemental Magic spells that deal no base damage in exchange for reducing the target's Base Stat, corresponding to the element weak to the debuff, and a small Damage Over Time effect at 3 second ticks. The stat reduction and DoT correspond directly to the caster's INT (see the table below), and is independent of the target's INT.
|
- Non-opposing elemental debuffs can be stacked, allowing up to three elemental debuffs to be active at one time on a particular enemy (others will have no effect or overwrite currently affecting elemental debuffs, depending on elemental ascendancy).
