Elemental Debuffs is a category of [[Black Mage]] specific [[Elemental Magic]] spells that deal no base damage in exchange for reducing the target's [[Base Stat]], corresponding to the element weak to the debuff, and a small [[Damage Over Time]] effect at 3 second [[tick]]s. The stat reduction and DoT correspond directly to the caster's INT (see the table below), and is independent of the target's INT.
[[File:Rasp_GUI.png]] [[Black Mage]] has access to six [[Elemental Magic|elemental magic]] spells frequently referred to as elemental debuffs, one associated with each element except light and dark.
