Empyrean Weapons are a series of powerful high-damage and low-delay weapons created through the Trial of the Magians system, offering Relic-equivalent weapons to Treasures of Aht Urhgan and Wings of the Goddess jobs.
These weapons require items dropped from Notorious Monsters in Abyssea zones, as well as items from Voidwatch Notorious Monsters.

• The unique weapon skills linked with these weapons may be unlocked for use with any weapon via either the level 90, 95, 99, or 119 Empyrean Weapon variants or with the analogous Walk of Echoes Weapons and the completion of the appropriate Kupofried's Weapon Skill Moogle Magic Quest.

It should be noted that instead of a weapon skill, both Ochain and Daurdabla reward the player in another manner. For further details, follow the links to their individual pages.

• For initial Item Level 119 versions, a level 99 variant and 300 Riftborn Boulders must be traded to Oboro in Port Jeuno at (E-6).
  • Ochain and Daurdabla lack 119 variants, being fully upgraded in their level 99 II forms.
