Templates to be used in the creation of new pages.

Item Page Templates

The below templates are designed for Item Pages only. They are also listed in order that they should appear on item pages.

Basic Templates

• Template:Item - Used for every item page that includes basic information.
• Template:Usable item - Used for every usable item page that includes basic information.
• Template:Category Page Header - Used for keeping the tops of most category-esque pages nice and orderly.

Item Specific Templates

• Template:Armor - Used on armor template pages only in conjunction with Template:Item.
• Template:Weapon - Used on weapon template pages only in conjunction with Template:Item.
• Template:Enchantment - Used on armor and/or weapon template pages only in conjunction with Template:Item AND Template:Armor OR Template:Weapon.
• Template:Aftermath Weapon - Used only on REME weapon pages to show stage links and Aftermath effects.

Acquisition Templates

Synthesis/Synergy

• Template:Item Synth Table - Used on item pages to show that an item is obtained via a craft.
  • Template:Item Synth - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.
• Template:Item Synergy Table - Used on item pages to show that an item is synergized.
  • Template:Item Synergy - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.

Purchased/Treasure/Exchange/Redeem

• Template:Item NPC Table - Used on item pages to show where an item can be purchased from an NPC, or redeemed in exchange for another item traded to an NPC.
  • Template:Item NPC - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.
• Template:Item Monster Table 2 - Used on rare, ex, rare/ex, or uncommon item pages to show where an item is dropped in a party's loot pool from monsters.
  • We are not using this template on common item pages. It is simply too much clutter for information people will likely not be looking for. We are relying on FFXIDB for this information.
  • Template:Item Monster 2 - Used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.

HELM

• Template:HELM Reward Table - Used to show an item may be obtained from HELM.
  • Template:HELM Reward - Only used in conjunction with the above template.

Quest/Mission/Special Event Reward

• Template:Item Quest Reward Table - Used on item pages to show where an item can be obtained via a quest, mission, or special event. Be sure to include a link in the notes to the NPC that gives the item to players.
• The "|Type=" tag with the following can be used in this template to change the left cell's contents.
• SP = Special Event, Q = Quest, U=Upgrade, M = Mission, SE = Seasonal Event. Blank defaults to Quest.
  • Template:Item Quest Reward - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.

Treasure Chest/Coffer/Casket Reward

• Template:Item Treasure Table - Used on item pages to show where an item can be obtained via a Treasure Chest, Treasure Coffer or Treasure Casket.
  • Template:Item Treasure - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.

Instance Reward

• Template:Item Instance Table - Used on all Battlefield loot items and on item pages where an item is a common drop from multiple mobs. Example: O. Bronzepiece dropping in Dynamis - San d'Oria. This template is not used very often, please use Template:Item Monster Table as often as possible.
  • Template:Item Quest Reward - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.

Despoil From

• Template:Item Despoil Table 2 - Used on item pages where an item can be despoiled from a mob.
  • Template:Item Monster 2 - Used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.

Desynthed From

• Template:Obtain Desynth Table - Used on item pages where an item can be despoiled from a mob.
  • Template:Item Other - Used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.

Usage Templates

Quest/Mission/Special Event Usage

• Template:Item Quest Usage Table - Used on item pages to show where an item is used in a quest, mission, or special event.
• The "|Type=" tag with the following can be used in this template to change the left cell's contents.
  • See the page for examples, but blank defaults to Quest.
  • Template:Item Quest Usage - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.

Further Information

• Template:Augmentable Item Table - Used to show an item may be augmented, who augments it, and with what item.
  • Template:Augmentable Item List - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
• Template:Garden Table - Used to show the results of gardening.
  • Template:Garden List - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
• Template:Furrow Table - Used to show the results of Mog Furrows. This is the only unique template just for something in the Mog Garden. Rest use the HELM one.
  • Template:Furrow List - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
• Template:Item Used In Synth Table - Used on item pages to show synthesis and synergy recipes that the item is used in as an ingredient. Please only list normal quality results. The default sort order should be alphabetical by craft name and then by craft level.
  • Template:Item Used In Synth - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.
• Template:Food Effect - Used only on item pages that are food. Shows effects and duration of that food.
• Template:Item Desynth Table - Used on item pages to show desynthesis results of that item.
  • Template:Item Desynth - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.
• Template:Medicine Effect - Only used on items that are classified as a Medicine to show the effects on a player when it is used.
• Template:Usable Pouch - Only used on usable items that produce other items when "popped" or "activated" - Examples are Freyed Sacks, Pluton/Beitetsu/Riftborn Boulder Cases (and such), etc

  • Template:NPC Vendor Wares - Only used in conjunction with the above template.
    • Repeatable for each occurrence.
