Went naked as BLU/whm with a Fermion Sword to Bostaunieux Oubliette to test if Banish will reduce the native damage bonus for undead as this page has claimed since this 2012 revision. First off, hounds 12.5% and not 25%, but there is no penalty to the damage bonus for casting banish.
Against a Garm from 100-60% I was dealing 18-25 damage. Satisfied that the minimum of my damage was consistent in this quick eyeballing of a test, I cast Banish II. My damage never went below 18, I cast it again for good measure, and the same.
There is no penalty against a damage bonus (E.g. blunt to skeletons) for using Banish against an undead foe. --Spicyryan (talk) 11:26, 2 December 2019 (EST)
