Walkthrough
- Speaking with Perih Vashai will grant you the key item Weapons Training Guide as well as the Bow of Trials. You will need to break the latent on the Bow of Trials before completing the rest of the quest.
- Breaking the Latent
- You must accumulate 300 points by using the Bow of Trials to do Weapon Skills and Skillchains on monsters that are at least Easy Prey.
- A stand-alone Weapon Skill and opening a Skillchain are worth one point. Closing a level 1 Skillchain is worth two points. Closing a level 2 Skillchain is worth three points.
- You will know when the latent is broken if the elemental resistances disappear from your stats. You can also check by seeing if the bonus stats disappear when you un-equip and re-equip the Bow of Trials.
- Trade the Bow of Trials back to Perih Vashai. This will give you the key item Map to the Annals of Truth. You will be instructed to travel to Cape Terrigan.
- Take sneak oil and prism powder with you and head to Kuftal Tunnel. Travel to (I-7) and north through the tunnel. Continue north; take no branches. At (I-4) the tunnel will loop down southward into a larger space, and you will need to curve immediately back up to the northwest. Exit Kuftal Tunnel into Cape Terrigan.
- Once you are at the Cape, travel to (G-7). This is where you will find the ??? to spawn the NM.
