This is the first in a line of quests revolving around the mini storyline/battle content Voidwatch.
Preparation
Prior to participating in this quest, players must fulfill the following three requirements:
1. The player must have entered Walk of Echoes via the Veridical Conflux in Xarcabard (S) at (H-9) at least once. You will need to be on or past the WOTG mission Cait Sith to do this.
2. Obtain all three Tier IV stratum abyssites by defeating Voidwatch NMs. To do this, complete the following:
- First, obtain the initial starter-city abyssites from Voidwatch Officers in their respective cities.
- Then, return to any Atmacite Refiner to analyze and upgrade atmacites after defeating the monster(s) for each tier:
- Crimson stratum abyssite (from Voidwatch Officer (San d'Oria) or Voidwatch Officer (San d'Oria (S)))
- I to II: Sarimanok in East Ronfaure and Cottus in East Ronfaure (S)
- II to III: Krabimanjaro in Ordelle's Caves
- III to IV: Belphoebe in Jugner Forest and Kholomodumo in Jugner Forest (S)
- Jade stratum abyssite (from Voidwatch Officer (Windurst) or Voidwatch Officer (Windurst (S)))
- I to II: Virvatuli in West Sarutabaruta and Pancimanci in West Sarutabaruta (S)
- II to III: Ogbunabali in Maze of Shakhrami
- III to IV: Lord Asag in Meriphataud Mountains and Akupara in Meriphataud Mountains (S)
- Indigo stratum abyssite (from Voidwatch Officer (Bastok) or Voidwatch Officer (Bastok (S)))
- I to II: Sallow Seymour in North Gustaberg and Ushumgal in North Gustaberg (S)
- II to III: Lorbulcrud in Gusgen Mines
- III to IV: Murk-veined Baneberry in Pashhow Marshlands and Melancholic Moira in Pashhow Marshlands (S)
- Crimson stratum abyssite (from Voidwatch Officer (San d'Oria) or Voidwatch Officer (San d'Oria (S)))
3. Defeat each Tier IV Voidwatch NM while in possession of the matching tier IV stratum abyssite to receive the following titles:
- Hahava (Crimson): Hahava Condemner
- Voidwrought (Jade): Voidwrought Deconstructor
- Celaeno (Indigo): Celaeno Silencer
- Once the above requirements are completed, you can actually begin the quest.
Walkthrough
- Travel to Pashhow Marshlands (S) and click on the Veridical Conflux located near the Pashhow Gate Crystal in (J-9) to start a cutscene.
- The cutscene begins the quest, and it then appears in your quest log.
- Speak with a Voidwatch Officer in one of the three nations (past or present) to receive the key item Voidwatch alarum
- The quest is now completed and the next is flagged at this point.
