Target Magic Evasion is compared to Caster's Magic Accuracy to determine Resist rate, or Resist state distribution in the case of spells with resist states. In general, +1 Magic Evasion = +1% Resist rate.

Magic Evasion is the sum of several quantities, and is poorly characterized. Here is what we know is included:

  • Magic Evasion from gear/Atma
    • Elemental Resistance gives 1 Magic Evasion for the appropriate element
    • Because of this, Magic Evasion+N on gear can be treated like All Resistances+N
  • Characters are given a hidden "Magic Evasion" trait that's treated like a C skillQuestion
    • Gaining 5 levels would gain you 30 resistance, then.
    • Approximately correct, but not necessarily correct. As low as 4 Magic Evasion/level has been suggested.
  • dSTAT factors into the comparison between Magic Evasion and Magic Accuracy.
