Notes
- Reduces damage by a set amount (F), which depends on Enhancing Magic skill (caps at 500):
- Under 300 skill: F = Floor(Enhancing Magic Skill/25) + 1 + (3 × Merit Level)
- Over 300 skill: F = 13 + (3×Merit Level) + Floor( (Enhancing Magic Skill - 300.5) ÷ 28.5)
- Example: If take 50 damage from an attack without Phalanx, you can put up a -30 damage/hit Phalanx II and reduce it to 20 damage/hit.
- Phalanx enhancing gear is added directly to this damage reduction.
- The target of the Phalanx spell must be wearing the Phalanx enhancing gear to benefit from its effects.
