Premium Mooblin Battle

Introduction

The Premium Mooblin Battle is a Final Fantasy XI special 16th anniversary event that takes place on Wednesday, May 16, at 1:00 a.m. (PDT) to Thursday, May 31, at 7:59 a.m.

There are two Moogles used for this event.

Statistic Moogles

The first moogles show your classic character statics. After receiving your special items, you can obtain another less valuable item every Earth day. Players are given the option of "Waiting for a better present", but there has not been any conclusive evidence that this has proven useful.

Southern San d'Oria (J-9)
Northern San d'Oria (D-8)
Bastok Markets (G-8)
Bastok Mines (H-9)
Windurst Waters (North) (F-9)
Windurst Woods (K-10)

Quest Moogles

To begin the event portion, speak to a Moogle in one of the three nations at the following locations:

Southern San d'Oria (I-8)
Bastok Markets (F-8)
Windurst Waters (North) (F-9)

Upon speaking to a Moogle, you will be rewarded with a Cornelia Statue. You will also be given an introduction to the event itself.

Next to each Moogle sits a red Treasure Chest. Inside are rewards from all of the past Anniversary events.

♦Mooblin Battle

The battle itself takes place at the following locations:

West Ronfaure (I-6)
South Gustaberg (J-7)
West Sarutabaruta (J-8)

Head out to an area above and receive Moogle Magic to receive a Level Cap status of level 5. You will then be able to fight the event monsters.

Earning Points

The points earned while fighting are called Tiptrus Points.

• The Destrier Beret and Chocobo Shirt are beneficial to this event, and it is recommended you wear them. Also, pick up a weapon that is level 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5.
  • The Gil Nabber Shirt appears to have no effect on any bonuses.

There are three types of points to accumulate, and all three contribute to your Total:

• Trust: Deal melee damage to enemies.
• Affinity: Deal magical damage to enemies.
• Friendship: Heal allies

Participation Mode

Your first goal is to earn 10,000 Tiptrus Points over the course of multiple battles. You will finish Participation mode at that point, and a chest will appear with your reward.
