General Notes
  • Casts Meteor upon spawning, and every 40 seconds after.
  • Possesses en-Stun.
  • Fighting in front of the Sovereign Behemoth allows it to use Howl, Shockwave, and Wild Horn.
  • Fighting behind the Sovereign Behemoth allows it to use Dust Storm and Kick Out.
  • Flame Armor and Thunderbolt are used regardless of direction.
  • Possesses Evasion Bonus, melees will need roughly around 1450+ Accuracy.

Damage Resistance

  • Builds Physical Damage physical and Magical Damage magical resistance by 1% of the corresponding damage it deals to players, capping at -75%.
  • Builds SDT resistance for the corresponding elemental type performed until reaching 5% (-95%), the lowest tier.
  • A cumulative 5,000 damage will reach the 5% tier. Limiting the usefulness of magic damage.
  • Sovereign Behemoth also possesses a high Magic Defense Bonus.

Resetting Resistance

  • The use of Howl will reset the accumulated resistances of Sovereign Behemoth any time it is used.
  • Howl stacks, increasing the Attack and Magic Attack of the Behemoth, and may not be dispelled.
  • Take care as the increasing use of Howl will eventually make spells like Meteor significantly stronger.
  • Creating a Skillchain for 10,000+ damage during the casting of Meteor will cause a White!!.png proc to occur.
  • This causes all resistances to be reset, and Sovereign Behemoth will take +50% damage for the next 30 seconds.
  • You may proc White!!.png multiple times a fight.
  • Due to the way resistance builds, it is recommended to attempt skillchaining only during the casting of Meteor.

During battle some monsters may change resistances.

100% denotates that a monster takes full damage.

  • E.g At 5% a foe takes -95% damage.

Tiers of 50% or less guarantee an enfeeble resist with 5% causing immunity.

See the Resist and Damage Type pages.
