BLU/WAR Solo Strategy

BLU/WAR - moderately geared (non REMA, non Colada) ~Asura.Technicz

Trusts setup:

  • Cornelia for auras
  • Koru-Moru for RDM goodness and no nuking
  • Selhteus for Rejuvination which keeps everyones MP high as insurance
  • Yoran Oran (UC) for high single target cures with skin
  • Anything else that doesn't really cast spells -- you could test Shantotto II out to bait him into casting tier 1 spells like standard Colibri

  • Shantotto II does make him reflect tier 1 spells 100-200 dmg Davecus (talk)

Buffs:

  • Erratic Flutter
  • Occultation
  • Mighty Guard
  • Cocoon
  • Nat Meditation
  • Berserk (when available)
  • Warcry (when available)

Strategy:

  • The Colibri can Snatch Morsel, so you can go foodless for this one
  • Mostly a tank and spank fight where you just spam CDC
  • Bring Colibri down to 20-30% and it will spawn a Mamool Ja add that is a BST class
  • Swap to Mamool Ja add since it will just spam Reward on the Colibri when you get it low and restore like 40% of its HP
  • You may actually be able to kill the Colibri without it summoning the Mamool Ja add if you burst it from 20% to 0 -- there appears to be a delay on the BST add popping and when its HP gets restored to 100%
    • Confirmed the above does not work. Kubool Ja's Mhuufya cannot be killed before it has popped the Mamool Ja and healed to 100%. Minimum it will reach is (assuming) 1hp. --Xurion (talk) 15:41, 17 April 2018 (EDT)
  • Colibri seems to spam Pecking Flurry after Mamool Ja is summoned and/or after Mamool Ja dies
  • Occultation barely allows Colibri to hit you, but the Mamool Ja rips through it pretty fast with multi hit weapon skills
  • Colibri and Mamool Ja appear to cast weapon skills irrespective of typical TP gain
  • I would toggle between TP set and DT set when I saw him performing TP moves; spells aren't that bad, especially if Occultation is up
  • The top end hits were just over 1,000 on their weapon skills, which was quickly healed up with Yoran's cureskin
  • You could get unlucky with both hitting you with weapon skill at the same time for double 1000 if your HP is below 2000
