Three Mage Gate

The Three Mage Gate is found far into the Inner Horutoto Ruins. The basic way of reaching it is entering the (J-7) tower in East Sarutabaruta and making your way West to the gate at (H-9) on map 3.
There are currently five ways to get past this gate:
- Assemble a group with a Black Mage, Red Mage, and White Mage to stand on the circles that match their name. This causes the circles on the floor to light up and it is a sight to see!
- Have someone who possesses the Portal charm obtain in Windurst Mission 3-2 open it.
- After receiving the Rhinostery certificate during the quest Toraimarai Turmoil and go straight to the Toraimarai Canal. A person may use this shortcut but cannot open it from the other side, though. Nexus Cape also will not work.
Past the gate, an ancient teleporter at (E-6, Map 4) can return you to the magical seal. - Having previously unlocked the Home Point or Survival Guide in Toraimarai Canal.
- Die in front of the gate and have someone who can get to the other side of the gate cast Tractor on you, then Raise you once you accept it and get transported to the other side.
You'll have to get past the Three Mage Gate and into Toraimarai Canal or Full Moon Fountain beyond it for the following:
- A Shantotto Ascension Mission 9
- A Shantotto Ascension Mission 10
- Borghertz's Calling Hands
- Making the Grade
- Now Recording...
- The Forbidden Path
- The Moonlit Path
- The Root of the Problem
- Waking the Beast
- Wild Card (Quest)
- Windurst Mission 3-2
- Windurst Mission 7-1
- Windurst Mission 8-2
- Windurst Mission 9-1
- Windurst Mission 9-2
Needless to say, you'd better unlock that Home Point or Survival Guide the first time you get back there if you have someone help open the door.
