Notes

  • Reduces ranged aiming delay by 15% and gives 15% melee Slow.
    • Ranger Job Point gifts give additional 5% Velocity Shot aiming delay reductions at 100 and 1200 points, bringing the total reduction to 25%.
    • Velocity Shot is considered separately from Snapshot, so in effect bypasses the 70 snapshot cap along with Rapid Shot. For more info see Delay.
  • Increases Ranged Attack by approximately 15% and reduces Attack by approximately 15%.
  • The total aiming delay reduction from Velocity Shot possible at the time of this writing is 38%:
    • Velocity Shot Base: 15%
    • Velocity Shot Gifts: 10%
    • Amini Caban +3: 11%
    • Belenus Cape: 2%
      • Equipment must remain equipped to gain the benefit.
  • Is lost upon zoning, and can be Dispelled.
