Notes

• Usually, the spell Retrace is able to be cast on a party member like Warp II, but unfortunately this is self-cast only. The other teleportation scroll, Instant Warp, was less ambiguous because Warp is only self-targeted.
• The item refuses to activate in the brief period of time you're able to acquire this item before you've fully established yourself in a nation, between RoV mission 1-17 and RoV 2-13, even if you've been to the zone and you've started the quests for that nation.
  • To clarify, you need to have finished at least one "Nation Quest 2" (and have completed it for whatever nation you're currently affiliated with if you've changed) though you don't necessarily need to have started the Cait Sith mission:
    • Claws of the Griffon
    • Fires of Discontent
    • The Tigress Strikes
  • Presumably, the spell Retrace has this same quest requirement – the first initiation quest is not enough, but instead the first three.
