Empyrean Armor +2 is a category of armor and garb that is Empyrean Armor fully upgraded through the Trial of the Magians system via the Magian Moogle with the blue puffball.

Stage 2 upgrades the +1 variant to the +2 variant, using a certain number of slot specific items obtained from high tier Abyssean NMs.

Items for upgrades come from various sources and can be found in the table below.
This does not increase the level of the Empyrean Armor.
It is instantaneous to complete this upgrade process.
This stage can be skipped using Reforged Empyrean Armor process for the 109 version, but the armor level requirement will increase to 99.

Note: Geomancer and Rune Fencer do not have base empyrean armor or accessories. 109 armors are obtained through quests. See Reforged Empyrean Armor.

As of the October 2017 update^[1], Empyrean Armor now grants its set bonuses even if the pieces equipped are of differing Item Levels.
