- With 434 Dark Magic Skill and an Anrin Obi on Darksday, minimum Aspir observed was 106 and maximum was 207.
After reading this post I don't think the formula on the main Aspir page is still valid. Looking at CDF's data here and comparing it with the other linked post, if we assume that the Aspir equation is fundamentally the same but has a different slope post-300 skill (pretty old-hat for SE), then we'd guess the new slope is 0.4 =(160-120)/(400-300). This would make the new Aspir equation: 0.4*(Skill-300) + 120, which would predict a maximum Aspir of 173 at 434 skill, or 190 with Anrin Obi. 207/190 = +8.9%, and 106*2/190 = +11.5%. From this, +10% Aspir potency from Striga Crown is my best guess --Byrthnoth 09:42, 20 November 2012 (EST)
I went out with 434 skill and cast Aspir 77 times on Darksday with Anrin Obi. My Aspir range was from 47 to 190 with 95~190 making up 96% of the data points. Thus, the above estimation of +10% is likely accurate. --Byrthnoth 16:59, 20 November 2012 (EST)
