2000 TP

I'm interested in whether or not this WS has an attack bonus (I suspect it does not.) However, first I decided to firm up the 2000TP fTP anchorpoint. I put on Mamoolbane with 43 STP (125 TP/ra) and got exactly 1250 TP while wearing Moonshade Earring and Godhands (so 2000 TP) with 291 STR and 195 VIT (194 WSC). First, I verified that I have 255 base damage (as I'd expect with 8/8 merits and capped fSTR). Then, I did effectively-2000 TP Tornado Kicks.

  • 7094-7388 damage observed : This indicates 4.48-4.51 fTP (4.5)

It's supposed to be 4.25, so either the listed anchorpoint is wrong, the listed mods are wrong, or the kick attacks on my Segomo Mantle are adding to base damage. So I took the mantle off (no change in base stats) and redid the test:

  • 7103-7391 damage observed : This indicates 4.48-4.52 fTP (4.5)

So it's not kick damage. Perhaps the mods are wrong? Putting on Fotia Gorget and Belt (276 STR, still 195 VIT):

  • 7303-7611 damage observed : This indicates 4.67-4.71 fTP

The range is consistent with 4.5+200/1024, but I would need to manipulate VIT/STR in order to seriously confirm it. Still, I'm more confident this anchorpoint (4.5) is correct than the old one. --Byrthnoth (talk) 06:21, 20 May 2017 (EDT)

1000 TP

I checked this fTP anchorpoint out as well just to make sure by using my setup above and unequipping my weapon/Moonshade earring. My base damage is now 59 (TRUNC(440*.11) + 3 + 8 fSTR).

  • 2047-2121 damage (2.245-2.275 fTP)
  • 910 damage (DA'd, ~1 fTP)

This is further confirmation that the mods provided by SE are correct. --Byrthnoth (talk) 06:48, 20 May 2017 (EDT)

Attack Boost

I went to Ru'Aun Gardens with 283 STR, 201 VIT, no weapon, and 440 H2H skill (D59 weapon). I went around and WSed Flamingos with low HP at either exactly 1000 or 2000 TP (or once at 3000 TP).

  • Non-crit melee hits : 159-206 damage (2.69~3.32 pDIF)
  • 1000 TP : 1739-1904 damage (3.06-3.2 pDIF)
  • 2000 TP : 3130-3645 damage (2.76-3.06 pDIF)
  • 3000 TP : 5684 damage (~3 pDIF)

So the max/min for Tornado Kick is 2.76-3.2 pDIF. Very similar to melee hits. Although I haven't ruled out the possibility of a very small attack boost, I conclude that there is no large attack boost. --Byrthnoth (talk) 07:48, 20 May 2017 (EDT)
