Mission Orders: Do'Bho Venomtail leads the Quadav assault, and an emergency meeting has been called in Bastok. War may well be on the horizon, and the Destiny Destroyers may be behind it all. Could it be related to the World Eater Egg? Head to Palborough Mines.

Walkthrough
- Optional: Talk to Naji, Metalworks (J-8) (HP #1) for a minor comment on addressing injuries after the prior mission.
- Speak with Iron Eater in the President's Office (J-8) in Metalworks for a cutscene.
- Zone into Palborough Mines from North Gustaberg for a cutscene.
- Closest Warp is Abyssea Grauberg Warp.
- Escaping from Palborough Mines HP puts you right at the entrance.
- Touch the Perversion's Refuge (H-9) on Map 3 for a cutscene.
- This is North of where Home Point #1 warp is.
- If you don't have the HP but have the Waughroon Shrine teleport from Domenic it is a valid alternative.
- Touch the Perversion's Refuge again to begin a confrontation with Mind-warped Scorpion.
- Appears to have an en-Drain effect on melee hits.
- Touch the Perversion's Refuge once more for a cutscene and a reward.
- Return to Iron Eater for the final cutscene and a reward.
- Optional: Speak with Iron Eater again for some additional dialogue.
