Note: You might wish to read the next mission guide too as you will need to grab a Doll Gizmo from Temple of Uggalepih. Depending on your available home points in Fei'Yin it might be faster to grab that item before this mission, if possible.

Preparation

• Optional: You can do this now or before the next Mission: if you have to wait the full day reset, you can go obtain a Doll Gizmo in the meantime, as you'll need it for the next Mission. This will prevent us extra teleporting around / walking back and forth to Beaucedine Glacier later.
  • You can buy them from the Auction House under Others ➞ Misc. 1.
  • It's also a 100% drop from the Manipulator in Temple of Uggalepih Map 2 at (I-10)/(J-10) patrolling in the big room.
    • Proto-Waypoint is the closest warp.
    • The Unity Concord (Level 125) Warp is also a quick way to reach this NM. You will have to defeat the door guardian to get through the door to reach your target.
    • The Manipulator respawns every 15 minutes.

Walkthrough

Beaucedine Glacier

• Speak with Halver for a cutscene to begin the Mission.
• Speak with Rahal in the Royal Knight's Quarters for another cutscene.
• Head to Beaucedine Glacier.
  • The quickest way is via Survival Guide (Fauregandi).
• Touch the Ferric Stench (H-8) next to the East side of the tower to begin a confrontation with:
  • Orcish Atlatl ^(WAR)
  • Orcish Axeman ^(BST)
  • Orcish Praetor ^(WAR)
  • Harnessed Smilodon ^(WAR)
    • You will receive Carmine Swallows' map after the fight.
• Touch the Ferric Stench again for a cutscene.
• Touch the Point of Interest at the lowest left corner intersection of (J-6)/(I-6) for a final cutscene.
  • This is located on the lowest level, next to the Mirror Pond.
  • Fastest route is Unity warp 128 Fei'Yin and zone out into Beaucedine Glacier. Can mount here
  • You will receive Hi-Elixir Tank after the cutscene.
• Note: If you're heading to the next Mission, do not warp away!
