Zhayolm Remnants Guide
Zhayolm remnants.jpg

Zhayolm Remnants can be reached via the southwest teleport in Alza'daal Undersea Ruins. Zhayolm Remnants has in the past been by far the most mysterious zone, hiding its NMs and being the reason some armor sets were impossible to complete for a long time. All the NMs besides Slot NM that drop equipment in this zone are named Poroggo Madame, and their pop condition varies from floor to floor. Battleclad Chariot is the zone's boss chariot, his special move Discoid is considered one of the easiest to manage for starter groups.

Boss Floor

Zhayolm Remnants 7F
  • Battleclad Chariot is located after Gilded Doors, at the center of the main room.
  • Utilizes all the Chariot moves, which include:
    • Inertia Stream: AoE damage and Bind. Additionally it will wipe all shadows.
    • Discharge: AoE damage and Paralysis. Additionally it will wipe all shadows.
    • Diffusion Ray: Conal directed damage, only used when target with hate is in front.
      • Using a Fanatic's Drink will cause a player to totally resist both the damage and status effect of these TP moves.
  • Utilizes special move Discoid:
    • AoE magical damage from target.
    • Total damage of 4,400, split among any type of affected targets, includes NPCs.
    • Damage can be reduced by Shell.
  • The group can put themselves in a position where Discoid affects everyone, but avoiding the aforementioned moves.
    • Discoid AoE distance is about 10' from target, positioning just outside the regular AoE moves is a safe distance.
    • Unless you can dish out a ton of damage, it is highly advisable to farm a fool's drink which is dropped in a chest in the room with 3 ramparts + 1 NM frog if you qualify for it to pop. Fool's drink gives you 30 seconds of magic immunity which should be used around 75% boss HP to start your skill chain.
