General Notes
  • Has access to Dispelga, Impact, Kaustra, and Absorb line of spells.
  • Uses a dust-cloud animation at the begining of battle, and then every 60 seconds afterwards.
  • Dust cloud color depicts current element.
    • Using magic or skillchains made of this element will heal Bumba and trigger fetters to start spawning.
    • Red: Element: Fire
    • Green: Element: Wind
    • Purple: Element: Thunder
    • White: Element: Light
    • Light Blue: Element: Ice
    • Blue: Element: Water
    • Light Brown: Element: Earth
    • Black: Element: Dark
    • If a player is KOed by a fetter, a DoT according to the fetter's element which persists through death is applied.
      • This means players will quickly need a cure or Panacea.
  • If players do not trigger fetters through absorption then there is a hard timer that begins the moment Bumba is aggroed when fetters will begin to appear.
    • V0-15: 4 minutes
    • V20: 2.5 minutes
    • V25: 1 minute
  • During fetter mode Bumba:
    • Does not change elements nor will it absorb magical damage.
    • Will use back-to-back TP moves.
    • Gains a permanent damage reduction effect corresponding to the damage type (Physical Damage/Magical Damage) when receiving 10,000 or more damage in a single attack.
      • E.g. Magic bursting (or skillchainingQuestion) for more than 10,000 will add -Question% Magic Damage Taken to Bumba.
        • Magic damage will not reduce Physical Damage Taken and vice versa.
      • This persists between entry attempts and is not removed unless exiting the zone and entering again.
  • Bumba may be proced to remove fetters via one of the following methods at random:
  • Critical Hits
  • Simultaneous Weapon Skills
  • Skillchains
  • Multiple Magic Bursts
  • While the fetter mode is active, Bumba gains access to Denounce.
  • Deals damage proportional to the maximum HP of players in range.
  • Uses any one of the following Two-Hour ability 1-Hours
