Notes
- The direction bonus is determined by where the target is located relative to the caster when the elemental magic spell actually lands on the target.
- East = A Magic Attack Bonus will be given if the target is located to the East of the casting Geomancer.
- West = A Magic Burst Bonus will be given if the target is located to the West of the casting Geomancer.
- North = Magic Critical Hit Chance is increased if the target is located to the North of the casting Geomancer.
- South = A Magic Accuracy Bonus will be given if the target is located to the South of the casting Geomancer.

- Casting in between the cardinal directions will provide a partial bonus of the adjacent cardinal directions. (ex. Casting between True E and True N provides some MAB and some Magic Crit. Chance)
- True NE would provide half of the bonus available by casting from True E or True N.
- Geomancer's -ra spells receive a higher bonus than other spells.
- The Magic Burst bonus damage from Cardinal Chant is independent of the Magic Burst Damage stat on gear (which caps at 40%) and works in the same way as the Magic Burst Bonus job trait. See Enhancing Magic Bursts on the Magic Burst page.
