Category:Scherzo

Scherzos are songs that give a damage reduction to single actions that take more than 75% of your character's HP. Often used as an extra song for high level content.

• Damage is compared to the threshold after -DT gear.
• Multi-hit monster attacks do not count as a single action and will only proc if the individual hits exceed 75% of your character's HP, so it is still possible to be one-shotted by a multi-hit attack.
• Grants approximately:

Damage Reduction = (Singing Skill + Instrument Skill - 350)/1000

• This is applied in a separate step after other forms of damage reduction, but adds with Earthen Armor.
  • The total cap from all sources for this reduction is -95%.
• Every Scherzo +1 given through equipment increases song duration by 10% and potency +1%.
  • The maximum Scherzo bonus available from equipment is +8.
• Soul Voice doubles the duration of this type of song.
• Marcato's effect on this type of song increases duration by 50%.
