i have done this quest several times over the last few months on my mules. the last time was October 20, 2025 when clicking the confirmation button 10 seconds after the box popped up actually worked. i just did this quest again (02/15/2025) on another character, this time i did it 10 seconds after the confirmation box popped, 3 times it didnt work. so i'm not sure if they changed it to make it easier for newer characters or if it swaps like the previous quest where you play "rock, paper, scissors" with maat and the other guy. i waited 10 seconds after the "...?" comment popped up before clicking the confirmation button and it worked. i have to do the same quest again later today on another character. i will try both methods to see if it swaps or something and post the results because this quest is very frustrating. ok just did it a second time and waited 10 seconds after the "Push" text box popped up, and it failed. waited 10 seconds after the "...?" text showed up in chat log and it worked. I have several more characters that have to do this quest so i'll report back on them to see if it differs. but so far it looks like its 10 seconds after the moogle says "...?" There is also an audio cue that can be used to get the correct timing. Each pulse of the Taru's casting during the cutscene equals 1 second. Push on the tenth pulsing, and you will get the correct cutscene and complete the quest. (need to make a video demonstrating this) --Kaeleka (talk) 05:50, 8 April 2026 (UTC)
