Solo: PUP with Valaineral, Joachim, Ulmia, Monberaux, Koru-Moru. Replace Trusts as needed. Use Valoredge setup with Inhibitors, preferably with Kenkonken, and spam Shijin Spiral -> Bone Crusher. Benjaman (talk) 22:04, 18 February 2024 (UTC)

DRG: bring blunt weapon, Jumps to shed hate
BRD: SV Minuet x2, March, Honor March, Dirge (on DD), Sirvente (on Tank)
COR: Monk + Samurai rolls.
WHM: Auspice
NM normal attack can cause defends down, and other normal attack can be AoE. NM weak to blunt damage.
Plan: Throw blunt DDs at it. DD run to the WHM if have Defends Down and HP ~50%, for Erase and Cure. DD don't stand on top of each other cause NM have front full dispel TP move. Time can be very tight for the fight.
No idea why Samurai roll instead of Chaos. Maybe for DD to deal less damage, and with Dirge and Sirvente on will have higher chance for Tank to hold hate. With DD running back and forth to the WHM, less chance for NM to also "running" to the WHM.

Info:
Mob has high resistance to all damage except for Blunt.
He does powerful single-target attacks and AoE attacks.
He does a lot of nasty AoE and single-target debuffs: Such as defense down (AoE), zombie (conal), burn (conal), max HP down (conal).
Tail Thwack (AoE): AoE knockback.
- Seems to be able to trigger anytime during the fight, but is much more likely if someone is fighting his back.
Debilitating Spout (conal): Full dispel, knockback, applies Zombie.
Scalding Breath (conal): Powerful Burn, white mage should try to remove asap.
He will 1hr at 75% HP. People have confirmed that it can be: Perfect dodge, invisible, or Elemental Sforzo (maybe others too). After the 75% move disappears DD can use their 1hrs.
- - - - - - Positioning:
Highly recommend having tank fight him with their back to a wall to avoid the knockbacks.
DD each fight on different sides of him in case of pulling hate.
- If DD pull hate, turn around to let tank get hate back.
Cor / Brd can NOT behind him. They must fight a side if they desire to fight.
- If DD pull hate, turn around to let tank get hate back.
- - - - - - Specific job roles:
War: armor break -> mighty strikes /1hr, spam ‘Judgment’ after mob uses 1hr/
- Used Loxotic Mace +1, augmented. Along with Blurred Shield +1.
Mnk: 1hr + Spam.
- I've used Mnks with both Empy and Aeonic H2H.
Cor: Chaos/ Sam's -> savage blade Spam.
- Cor should random deal to reset war's warcry, then wild card to try and reset 1hrs -> random deal again later for Warcry again.
Brd: Soul voice and 5 song: Haste, haste (aeonic), attk, attk, enmity down on DD and enmity up on tank -- Refresh Whm of course. -> Savage blade spam.
- Brd can opt to not engage but rather focus on trying to rebuff the tank when he gets dispelled.
Tank: Tank stuff, does not leave -dt set even to WS.
- Can use enmity set for initial pull.
Whm: Boost Str, Barfire, etc, whm stuff.
- Should remove the many debuffs given to the party, even more-so tank.
- Will need to reapply pro and shell to tank after dispel.
WHM PLD MNK BRD DRK

Senkai pretty much detailed the fight out as much as necessary. One note is that PUP can tank this fight. Dirge or some other form of enmity control is highly recommended, as if the puppet loses hate it's likely 1-6 players will die. A healer will still be required for this strategy, as Gigelorum's AoEs are still quite powerful. If it uses Mighty Strikes as its SP, everyone should run out until the duration has expired.

PLD WAR MNK BRD COR RDM
HM Minuet x2 Scherzo & Dirge, Sam & Chaos Haste2's Refresh on DD's with Schere Earring.
Full Dispel on Tank and Zombie status for 8~15sec, Used Scherzo to help with Tail Twack AoE Dmg. Hybrid def/dt sets for DD's Sakpata/Mpaca build.
Mnk should be the 2nd on Enm list for add spawn at 75, so just disengage and be ready to move out for add. Bind/Grav/Sleep.
Can be abit hectic with Zombie/Dispels and Pld taking to much dmg.

RUN WHM RDM BRD WAR MNK
General Strategy: This boss deals a fair amount of AoE damage (also applies defense down -50% with AoE). He also constantly dispels with a conal attack so tank must absolutely keep aggro the whole time (which is tough when they keep getting dispelled). Deals all magical aoe dmg. Physical + Magical dmg on primary target, but a PLD should use Aegis. Deals more aoe dmg on flanks, so non-tank should be in rear.
Aura during clear: Magic Att. Down
GEO Lobby bubbles = refresh (whm), str, fury, barrier, focus (for RDM in case of m.acc down aura).
BRD: No SV/NiTro to start. HM, minuet x2, earth carol, dirge (sirvente for tank). Do SV Nitro about 80%, and then Dark Threnody on add when it spawns while you still have NiTro up. Tank will get constantly dispelled; when this happens, put march x2 back on them.
DDs: Use blunt damage, stand on same side of boss so you stay together after knockbacks. When the add spawns, it will likely go on a DD. That player needs to move away from the boss until the add is bound/slept and then can go back to the boss. Use Panacea to remove Defense Down if your WHM is busy.
RDM: Debuff boss (distract, dia, slow, etc). Keep add bound, slept, and gravitied away from the boss. During free cycles, DD boss using a club.
WHM: Keep everyone healed. Try to keep tank close to full HP because they will get hit by a zombie effect (unable to cure until debuff times out). This zombie cannot be removed using Sacrifice. Use Afflatus Solace and single target cures to keep a stoneskin on tank in lieu of curing. Put up a Barstonra and Auspice on DDs.
RUN: Position the boss with your back to a wall. When you get dispelled, reapply Crusade first. RUN is recommended for more abilities and Vivacious Pulse; not as dependent on buffs to remain functional. Keep up Tenebrae runes and use Vivacious Pulse as often as possible. Reapply Shell V on yourself after dispels (and Barwater if you have time/MP); this saves your WHM's mana. Call for Devotion if needed. Under 25% stagger usage of One For All and Odyllic Subterfuge to help reduce damage on DDs.

Kiting Strategy
Gigelorum is probably the most dangerous T2 at high Vengeance tiers due to his very strong AoE physical auto-attacks/TP moves and zombie/full dispel. However, he is not immune to Gravity and most of his TP moves are conal self-cast, so kiting him is an safe and highly effective strategy.
- RUN
- PLD will probably work if the player can cure-cheat for hate, but RUN is much better here in general thanks to its high number of self-target JAs.
- Must stay within 20' of boss when using JAs/spells to keep hate!
- This isn't as dangerous as it might seem. As stated before, Gigelo's TP moves are conal self-cast; he'll use them as long as you're in the theoretical range of the move, even if it won't actually hit you. Thus, you have roughly 2-3' of buffer (18-20' away), which allows you to get Foil/Flash/JAs off without getting hit.
- Flash on pull, Valiance the party for initial hate, then start running him around once the RDM applies Gravity II. Foil/Flash as necessary while kiting.
- RDM
- Haste II on everyone, Refresh III on self/tank/DDs (Schere Earring).
- Highest priority is Gravity on the boss and add control. The adds are just as dangerous as the boss in this fight; you don't want them anywhere near the party.
- Adds are vulnerable to Gravity, Bind, and Sleep (requires a few Immunobreaks)
- If you get Magic Accuracy Down aura, you will need Immunobreaks to land anything. Be prepared to use Stymie Gravity II on Gigelo if things start going wrong.
- Apply typical enfeebles to boss as needed. DD with Black Halo when not busy. Throw out cures if the boss turns.
- BRD
- Honor March, Minuet x3, Dirge on DDs. Replace Dirge with Sirvente on the tank.
- Dirge is absolutely required, don't skip it!
- Help out with a staff by using Shell Crusher/Full Swing if you can, otherwise just relax.
- Honor March, Minuet x3, Dirge on DDs. Replace Dirge with Sirvente on the tank.
- COR or GEO
- GEO is probably a better choice here since it can help DD; our group didn't have the comp available at the time.
- Standard physical buffs (Chaos/Samurai for COR, Fury/STR for GEO)
- Boss is getting kited, so don't expect the Luopan bubble to be very useful.
- 2x Blunt DD
- MNK + WAR is probably the best combination. DRK can be used in a pinch.
