I'm not sure the listed effect is correct. I used it and had an explosion start at just 32% impurities, and many under 50%. I also found I had much longer to thwack it (I can usually fit in only 5 attempts but managed 10 with it on). I think this matches the text (delays the 'looming explosion'). Does not appear to have any effect if you do it while the explosion is already pending though. --Mudcake (talk) 21:54, 22 January 2017 (EST)
