Fail

BLU/RUN Mlvl30 fail. Popped the NM and Savage blade for 90% of its HP. Then I got petrified with all my trusts and slowly die of poison within 30 seconds. Danger still exists in Abyssea ! LordAttilas (talk)

BLU/RDM in starter i119 gear, I did the same thing and was inflicted with Terror and a Curse that prevented any healing recieved for the entire fight. Shantotto II was the only trust unaffected by it, she solo DPS'd the NM down while the boss whaled on me. I was left with 71 HP, perhaps because I casted Regeneration and Cocoon before spawning? The rest of my trusts were freed from terror half-way through, but were unable to heal or cure of me of either ailment, including Ferreous Coffin. Pretty easy solo on BLU/NIN

I went in as a decently geared BLU, nothing more than AF+2/Ambu +2 gear and the fight took about a minute. The key for me was Terror/Poison/Petrify screens from Dominion Tactician. Trust setup was Amchuchu/Apururu/Ulmia/Arciela/AAEV, but honestly I don't even think the Tank trusts were necessary. I held hate the entire fight with my back turned just nuking the silly lizard to death. Also don't forget about Atmas, they probably carried me lol

Solo 99PLD/WAR w/ Trusts

Soloed as a 99PLD/WAR with ilvl119 Sulevia's Armor Set +2 (Ambuscade Gear), Naegling, and Priwen. I didn't tank to avoid the gazes and summoned AAEV, Selh'teus, Joachim, Ingrid (for Cursna), and Kupipi as trusts. I didn't position AAEV all that well, so most of the trusts were still affected by the gazes. Ingrid was luckily in a good position to cast cursna when needed. It was a fairly easy fight. I did my best to avoid getting Enmity, but it was inevitable when I would use Savage Blade. I could have likely tanked the beast as well and spent most of the time facing away to let the trusts do all the work. --Wetnose (talk) 03:01, 17 March 2026 (UTC)
