Soloed with a tank, BLMs, and healing mage trusts using ilvl119 Ambuscade +2 gear as THF/DNC. The fight itself isn't difficult, but it becomes frustrating when Rani casts Meteor or other spells that can one-shot your trusts.
On my first attempt, I didn’t move from her spawn point, so Rani charmed me at 1% and despawned. The second time, I repositioned near the Doll NM area and managed to defeat her. During her glowing-eyes phase, I kited her to avoid charm. I wasn’t expecting much of a challenge, but I got one—and it was fun.
Advice for new players: watch her TP moves carefully; at one point, I accidentally kept healing Rani. Make sure to collect all Lunar Abyssites to access three Atmas, and pick up a few Abyssites that boost your stats.

This guy is a Jerk. Standard rules for Abyssea bosses, have to time WS between it doing TP Moves. in addition, will periofically go in healing mode, where damage of a certain tuype heals him instead of healing. Ultimate jerk face move is that he has AOE Charm. Has him procced blue and down to 1% - AOE Charm for 35 seconds. Worst part, mob de popped as soon as charm wore. 14:32, 13 June 2017 Benitez (Talk)
Solo'd BST/WHM in 119 bayld gear with trusts March 2019. If you pull him back and fight him at conflux #8 if he charms or kills you (he did both to me) you can reraise/let charm wear off resummon trusts and get back to him before he despawns and run him back to the conflux. Died once, charmed twice with better gear and more experiance would be easy. Davecus (Talk)
