Talk:When Good Cardians Go Bad

From FFXI Wiki

Correct responses:

  • 6 of Diamonds: Greetings! the area beyond this point is a danger zone. Proceed with caution.
  • 5 of Diamonds: Greetings! the area beyond this point is a danger zone. Proceed with caution.
  • 4 of Diamonds: Warning! Dangerous fiends lurk beyond here. Prepare for heavy fighting.
  • 3 of Diamonds: All clear! With me on the job these survivors have nothing to fear.
  • 2 of Diamonds: Welcome! You are quite the accomplished adventurer to make it this far. (fame-based statement?)

Take note of the names of the Cardians which give you the odd response. A wrong response can have just one single wrong word:

  • To reiterate; if the Cardian statement is quirky then the Cardian is broken. Also, if the stars are hollow (☆) then the Cardian is broken.*

Examples:

If they have Solid Stars (★) and the answer is "correct", they are ok. If they have Hollow Stars (☆) and the answer is "correct", then they are not working properly. If they have Solid Stars (★) and the answer is "incorrect", then they are not working properly.
