History of the Zilart:

The First Verse

• From the Seed Crystal, the world is born along with powerful immortal gods.
• The God of Darkness, Promathia, becomes mortal and dies.
  • His essence being too large to return to the crystal, would be forever lost.
  • Altana separates Promathia into many vessels and breaks apart the crystal, pouring its light into those vessels.
• With the separation of the 'mothercrystal', the world of the gods ends and the gods fall into slumber as a new world and new people are born.
• The Zilart race is born, the second generation of mortals.
  • They inherited the divine blood of Promathia, but also the emptiness. The light overshadowed the darkness so they don't feel its effects.
  • The Dawnmaidens have some of memories of the age of the gods, not knowing that they are Promathia's memories.
• The first verse is written: The lay of the immortals, which tells of the creation of the gods.

The Second Verse

• Temple to the Goddess is built, Al'Taieu, at birthplace of the Zilart, place closest to Altana.
• Zilart create great gardens and temples, invent magic technology.
• Lower generations of Zilart race are born with light and darkness, unable to express gifts of divine blood. Called Kuluu.
  • Zilart shun differences, believe darkness is malediction that needs to be cured.
• Kuluu are cast out of Zilartian city. Kuluu cities are founded: Fei'Yin, Ro'Maeve, and Pso'Xja.
• Zilartian prince wanders near 1 of 5 mothercrystals and sees Vision of Paradise, psychically shared to the other Zilart.
• Research on mothercrystals begins. The arks created to protect the mothercrystals.
• Darkness is detected within the mothercrystals. Artificial beings created using parts of mothercrystals with hope that it would make them capable of understanding mothercrystal, able to seek out and remove the darkness. 5 mothercrystals, 5 artificial beings: Ark Angels.
• Dawnmaiden Yve'Noile begins work on Chamber of Eventide.
• Research of mothercrystals discovers 5 types of light energy. Towers are built in Al'Taieu to split mothercrystal energy into 5 healing towers to cleanse Kuluu darkness.
• Crystal line built, connecting arks to rejoin mothercrystals and restore Paradise.
• Floating island of Tu'Lia is built, the Gate of the Gods.
• Yve'Noile's Chamber of Eventide is tested on Kuluu.
• Diabolos is born.
• Crystal line activated, transferring mothercrystals' light, focusing it to Tu'Lia above Temple of the Goddess, Al'Taieu. Gate of the Gods forced open.
• Kuluu go to war with the Zilart.
• 5 Healing towers converted into weapons to harm Kuluu.
• 5 Races with distinct forms of darkness born.
• Chamber of Eventide ruptures.
• Emptiness begins swallow world.
• Remnants of Kuluu ask Diabolos to cleanse darkness. Become Tonberry race.
• People of Al'Taieu give Mithra race duty, awaken sleeping gods, mend world.
• Mithra attempt awakening, sleeping gods won't fully awaken, emptiness partially cleansed.
• Fei'Yin, Ro'Maeve, and Pso'Xja destroyed during spatial transfer of Al'Taieu.
• Terrestrial avatars pulled into Gate of the Gods, causes disruption in time and space.
  • Vana'diel A Realm Reborn - Rebooted timeline where Kuluu destroy Vahzl Ark, Bahamut destroys Al'Taieu, prevent Gate of the Gods, radiation makes Tonberrys, Kuluu makes pact with Fenrir, causing will of moon to ensure next Keeper of Apocalypse born in Tavnazia. Elvaan have no memory of original timeline. Zilart are sent into the distant future.
  • Vana'diel Promyvion - Mithra are sent into the future of Vana'diel ARR with memories of original timeline. Imperfect copy of Vana'diel original timeline kept in mothercrystal memory: Promyvion.
  • Al'Taieu Promyvion - Selh'teus, Bahamut, Pheonix, Yve'noile, Zilart King, Zilart race. Imperfect copy of new dimension branched from Vana'diel original timeline kept in mothercrystal memory and connected to Promyvion where Al'Taieu is contained within itself. Keeper of Apocalypse born in Al'Taieu.
  • Al'Taieu Tartarus - Terrestrial Avatars (deceased), Zilart race (deceased), Keeper of Apocalypse (former), Ashrakk, Dhokmak, Cimmerian Adherents, 6 Naakuals, Sajj'aka. "Extra-dimensional space utterly sealed within itself, without stars or skies. - Teodor". After discovery by a grey-skinned Kuluu, power over darkness and death was obtained: "All are lost, their spirits wandering endlessly through the darkness. I will help them transcend their suffering. I will give them death, and all will become one. - Hades"
• The second verse is written. Which tells of the end of Vana'diel.

• The third verse is written. The voice of the gods.

• The fourth verse is written. The reply to the gods.

• The fifth verse is written.
