Walkthrough

  • Walk forward to the Transcendental Radiance.
  • Upon examining the Transcendental Radiance, you will be given the option to enter the battle field:
    • The fight is against Disjoined One.
    • Time limit is 15 minutes.
    • Easily soloable with 5 Trusts.
      • Easy solo for RDM, no Trusts, subjob doesn't matter.
    • If Iroha dies, she will Reraise after 15 seconds. She will Reraise multiple times.

Notes

  • Should you fail or otherwise leave Empyreal Paradox, you may use the Dimensional Portal at any teleport Crag to return.
    • This capability is lost when you're no longer on a RoV Mission requiring access to Empyreal Paradox.
    • If you haven't reached Dawn in Chains of Promathia, you will be confined to the basement. There are no free trips to Al'Taieu.
      • Note: there is technically one free trip into Al'Taieu, but it's only for the front section (not the rest of Lumoria - neither Grand Palace of Hu'Xzoi nor The Garden of Ru'Hmet) and there's seemingly no way to gain persistent access after this mission. Using Escape from within the Empyreal Paradox will put you outside the Crystalline Field gate: none of the Rubious Crystals will respond unless you are on Promathia Mission 8-1 so you will not be able to enter -- only the Auroral Updrafts and thus the exit to Sealion's Den will be functional. Areas corresponding to the three crags - and thus the three home points, are not available (though potentially reachable with some creative use of Tractor – untested). Also, the quest In the Name of Science won't be offered by Yurim by virtue of having entered the area, you must truly have started the mission Garden of Antiquity. This seems like it could be used to fight Jailers early, or but is of questionable usefulness overall. Still – it's a free trip for those who are new and curious to spoil what the outdoor area looks like.
