The blue mage does not have to touch the monster (or to be on his hate list) in order to learn a spell.
He can be 100% AFK for the whole duration of the fight and still learn a spell.
I just helped a level 1 BLU to learn Pollen, with my BST in Adoulin (I charmed a bee and used it to kill another bee, it took 2 mobs). Atrelamine (talk) 02:27, 29 August 2025 (UTC)
